AUTOGLYM ULTIMATE SCREENWASH -45ºC

There aren’t many products that we’re religious about, but having tried a total of 6 other ‘extreme’ rated screenwash products in five and a half months of baltic conditions, we stopped looking and there’s no amount of technological wizardry that’ll get us to change from Autoglym Ultimate Screenwash for motorhome skiing  – or any winter travelling for that matter.

Having worked with Autoglym products as part of my job [Hannah] for the best part of 15 years, it wasn’t a huge surprise that the Autoglym answer to cold weather screenwash was going to embarrass the competition. By all means, put caustic soda or some toxic nasty in your screenwash bottle but if you have any concern for the windscreen, plastics, rubbers and paintwork of your motorhome of campervan, I’d be jolly choosy if I were you.

It’s now in every vehicle we use from October on.

Here’s why we love Autoglym Ultimate Screenwash:

  • It works to -45ºC – we tested it regularly into the -20ºCs and have no reason to think it won’t work on Arctic iceberg boats – undefeated by the Simplon Pass during the ‘Beast from the East’
  • It carries the Royal seal so if it’s good enough for the Queen, it’s good enough for us
  • No freezing on the screen – nothing more scary on a switch-back than a sudden screenwash induced white-out
  • Safe for all jet types
  • Safe on all paintwork, trims and headlight plastics (it’s Autoglym, what do you expect?)

There you have it, in our eyes there really isn’t a worthy competitor to the Autoglym Ultimate Screenwash.
